Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any queries regarding the tips below or any issues with your pumping system.

  • Choose the right pump for your situation. When it comes to pumps, you generally get what you pay for. What may seem cheaper in the short term can often end up
costing you more time and money in the long run. Speak to us to choose the right pump for your situation.
  • Think about product warranties. Some warranties are longer than others, but it’s better to choose a reliable product that won’t need to call on its warranty.
The majority of manufacturer’s warranty faults show up at the time of set-up and in the initial months, not in the longer term.
  • Check the air pressure in your air tanks on pressure systems every 3 -6 months. It should be set at 2psi less than the cut in pressure.
  • Protect your pump from the elements by keeping it under a ventilated cover.
  • Extend the life of your pump and stop unnecessary cycling by keeping it free from leaking fittings.
  • Alleviate the need to replace a pump. Servicing every 3 years will prolong the life of a pump and prevent seizure of nuts, bolts and screws.
This will allow for future servicing, rather than pump replacement.
  • Reduce your power bill. Ensure your pump is not cycling (turning on and off when not in demand) as this causes excessive consumption and higher costs.
